Yannick Bolloré est le fils de Vincent Bolloré, Président du groupe Bolloré. L'affaire familiale qui, au départ, n'était focalisée que sur la production de papier fin a diversifié son activité à plusieurs domaines. Aujourd'hui elle offre des services dans le transport, la logistique internationale, la distribution d'énergie, la communication et les médias.

Yannick Bolloré est le directeur général du pôle média qui comprend les deux quotidiens gratuits Direct matin, Direct soir et la chaîne Direct 8. Cette chaîne de télévision généraliste, crée en 2005, fait partie du bouquet de la TNT et cible principalement les 25-49 ans. En 2006, Yannick Bolloré remplace Philippe Labro à la direction des programmes. La publicité fait alors son apparition sur la chaine.

En plus du poste qu'il occupe à la Tour Bolloré, Yannick Bolloré a créé avec un ami de longue date, Wassim Béji, une société de production cinématographique : WY Productions.
Fin 2009, la filiale Havas Production est lancée. Yannick Bolloré copréside cette société avec Lucien Boyer.

En février 2010, le groupe Bolloré annonce la parution d'un quotidien payant du soir, qui pourrait intervenir au second semestre. Yannick Bolloré, directeur du pôle Médias du groupe confirme ce projet dans un entretien au Journal du dimanche (JDD) du 18 janvier.

En mars 2010, Yannick Bolloré rachète la chaîne Virgin 17 au groupe Lagardère. La chaîne changera de nom mais restera à vocation musicale. Et les salariés seront conservés par la nouvelle direction. Il projette également de lancer la chaîne Direct Azur, une chaîne locale qui pourrait dégager des synergies avec le quotidien gratuit Direct Nice.

Actuellement, Yannick Desbiens occupe le poste de directeur principal des opérations chez Canadian Apartment Properties Real Estate Investment Trust.

Mr. Yannick Marion joined Dassault Systèmes in May 2015 as M&A director.
Prior to Mr. Yannick Marion was Director in Eurazeo since March 2001.
At Eurazeo, Mr. Yannick Marion has participated in the structuring or the oversight of the following investments : Fraikin, Lev, Eutelsat, Lazard, Rexel, B&B Hotels, ELIS as well as on the merger of Rue Impériale and Eurazeo Mr. Yannick Marion is member the B&B Hotels and ELIS Board of Directors.
