The firm is a subsidiary of APG Group NV, itself a subsidiary of Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP in The Netherlands. Formerly known as APG Investments, the firm changed their name to APG Asset Management in 2009. APG provides collective pension schemes for participants in the education, government, construction, cleaning and glass cleaning, housing associations, energy and utility companies, sheltered employment, medical specialists and practices of architects.
