Proper, CFA, is a Senior Vice President of Investments at The Equitable Life Insurance Co. of Canada.
She joined Equitable in 1997, and served as Portfolio Manager, Senior Portfolio Manager, Director of Portfolio Risk Management and Director of Portfolio Management in the Equitable Asset Management Group before being appointed Vice President of Capital Markets in 2018.
She is responsible for the direction of asset allocation, research and relative value analysis across multiple asset classes, as well as establishing the Asset Management Group's investment strategy.
She received her Honours Bachelor of Math degree from The University of Waterloo.
