Mr. Olivier Bamert is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Vontobel Asset Management AG.
He joined Vontobel Asset Management in June 1998.
As Senior Portfolio Manager in the Multi-Asset Boutique, he manages balanced accounts.
Before this, he worked in New York, where he also attended the Investment Advisory Program offered by CS International Bankers School.
In 1986, after graduating from business college, Mr. Bamert joined Bank Leu as an investment advisor.
After a sojourn in the UK, he transferred to institutional asset management and managed balanced accounts and equity portfolios.
As deputy head of institutional asset management, he oversaw the implementation of a new portfolio management system.
Mr. Bamert is a Certified Bank Expert and also earned the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation.
