Mr. Alexander C.
Huberts, CFA, is President at Mellon Capital Management Corp.
Prior to joining Mellon Capital, Mr. Huberts was President and Chief Investment Officer of Coefficient Global, a business unit of Standish Mellon Asset Management that specializes in quantitative investment strategies.
A native of the Netherlands, he has 29 years of global quantitative investment experience.
Prior to founding Coefficient Global in 2006, he served as Standish’s Chief Investment Officer where he was responsible for over $150 billion in fixed income assets from 2003-2006.
From 1992-2003, he was at Mellon Capital Management where he was appointed to Director of Research and Head of Asset Allocation respectively; in these roles he co-developed and then oversaw over $30 billion in active asset allocation accounts.
Prior to that experience, he was at Concord Capital where he worked on quantitative stock selection strategies; at the start of his career, he worked at AMRO bank (Amsterdam, the Netherlands) and the Ministry of Finance in the Netherlands.
Mr. Huberts has a Master’s degree in Economics/Finance from Tilburg University in the Netherlands, where he majored in economics for his undergraduate degree.
