Prior to joining Sunrise, Mr. Miller spent 5 years on the CMBS trading desk at Morgan Stanley.
His primary responsibilities included deal development, structuring, credit roadshows, and transaction pricing of all conduit CMBS, small-balance securitizations, and CRE CDO's.
While at Morgan Stanley, his team was the lead-underwriter on over 100 transactions, comprising more than $130 billion of commercial real estate collateral, giving him extensive buy-side contacts and exposure to real estate markets nationwide.
He started his career at a real estate development and management firm based in Monterey, California.
His expertise lies in loan underwriting, cashflow analysis, and real estate capital markets.
Mr. Miller graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BBA in Finance and Real Estate.
