Mr. Hillary M.
Duckworth is Chief Executive Officer at TZI Ltd.
and Partner at Hawkwood Fund Management.
He is a resident of Zambia and Zimbabwe and citizen of the DRC, which countries substantially host all the African assets managed by Hawkwood Fund Managers.
He is involved in a number of companies within these three countries including family ranches in Southern Province Zambia.
In 1993 he co-founded TZI; a Luxembourg listed company.
As Chief Executive Officer he built it to be one of the largest non-mining entities in the Central African Region.
Following macro economic difficulties in Zimbabwe in the 1990's he was tasked with unbundling the TZI group completing this task at the end of 2003.
Prior to this Hillary worked as a corporate financier at Robert Fleming and Societe Generale Merchant Bank.
He served 10 years as a British army officer before working in the post-acquisition team at Hanson Trust.
He graduated from RMC Sandhurst with the RAC prize and holds a Sloane MBA from London Business School.
