Prior to founding Rigel in 1998, Mr. Kauffman co-founded and served in the same capacities with Sirach Capital Management, and was the Senior Pension Manager/Investment Manager for Seafirst Bank.
In addition to his significant professional accomplishments, he has shown continued dedication to his alma mater where he is currently a board member of both the College of Arts and Sciences and the Golf Team Advisory board.
He is a co-founder of Intergenerational Innovations, a non-profit organization serving public education in the Seattle area and is a past president of the Seattle Society of Financial Analysts.
Mr. Kauffman attended the University of Washington and received a BA in Finance and Investment.
From Ohio Sate University, he earned an MBA in Finance and Investments.
