Rick was appointed to the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration at UBC in 1970 and was primarily responsible for the graduate seminars in security analysis and portfolio management.
Rick joined Phillips, Hager & North in 1973 and is a portfolio manager and a shareholder of the firm.
