Prior to Sloane Robinson, he managed his own Emerging Markets advisory business, Gemstrat Advisory from 2008-2011.
He was a portfolio manager at Moore Capital from 2004-2008 and started his professional career with Merrill Lynch as an Emerging Markets Strategist from 1997-2004.
He has Doctorate in Economics/Economic History from St. John’s College and Nuffield College, Oxford and was a Junior Research Fellow at Merton College, Oxford from 1995-97.
He holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing as well as being a CFA charterholder.
