Mr. David M.
Cockfield, CFA MBA, is Senior Vice President & Portfolio Manager at MacNicol & Associates Asset Management, Inc. Prior to joining MacNicol & Associates, he was a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Ontario's oldest independent investment counseling firm.
Prior to that, he served as President and Director of an investment counseling firm, which he co-founded.
Mr. Cockfield began his career at the Bank of Canada before moving on to become the head of the Investment Division of one of Canada's largest trust companies.
Mr. Cockfield is a member of The Toronto Society of Financial Analysts and holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst.
He has twice been a director of the society.
He also been active in the Investment Counsel Association of Canada serving on the Executive in various capacities including a term as president.
Mr. Cockfield appears regularly on ROB TV representing the firm's views on individual stocks and markets.
