Mr. David Kocon is Partner at The Alden Group LLC.
Mr. Kocon joins Alden Equity Partners from Sun Mountain Capital, a multi-strategy fund manager based in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he was head of the firm's Credit Opportunity Fund.
Prior to Sun Mountain Capital, he was an investment banker in the Global Leveraged Finance group at Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York.
He is also a former Peace Corps Volunteer who served in Romania.
Mr. Kocon has a Master's degree in International Affairs from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's of Art degree in Economics from Claremont McKenna College.
