The centre's mission is to support the full scope of Hebrew and Jewish studies from antiquity to the contemporary world, and it aims to fund education at undergraduate and graduate levels within the University of Oxford. The centre has hosted four European seminars on advanced Jewish studies between 2009 and 2012, each comprising a series of seminars and workshops extending over a period of six months and culminating in a conference.
