FHS Service is a non-profit community health system serving Fauquier County and surrounding areas. Its hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission and follows the planetree model for patient-centered care. FHS offers access to a range of health care including physicians & nursing in its infusion center, physical therapy, wound care, home care services, family birthing center, physician & community referrals, health and wellness classes & lectures, and health management through medically-based fitness programs at LIFE Center. The Fauquier Health System includes the Fauquier Hospital, Fauquier Home Health, Warrenton Overlook Health and Rehabilitation Center, the LIFE Center, and three joint ventures: The Cancer Center at Lake Manassas, Piedmont Home Care, and Piedmont Medical Laboratory. Piedmont Home Care, a joint venture with Valley Health, is a retail store offering medical, home health and wellness supplies. The Cancer Center at Lake Manassas, a partnership with Prince William Hospital, offers radiation treatments in the community. It also offers cardiopulmonary, vascular & surgical services, medical imaging, sleep center. The organization was founded on February 26, 1925 and is headquartered in Warrenton, Warrenton, VA.
