Ms. Carmen Racy-Choy is a Partner & Chief Investment Officer at McMorgan & Co. LLC.
She is responsible for all investment-related functions at the firm, including developing firm’s investment strategy and platform, monitoring our sub-advisory relationships, and overseeing managed accounts.
Prior to joining McMorgan in 2012, Ms. Racy-Choy City of San Jose Retirement Plans where she was Chief Investment Officer, managing $4.8 billion in assets.
Prior to joining the City of San Jose, she was a Principal at Mercer Investment Consulting in Montreal, providing investment consulting services to endowments and pension plans.
Earlier in her career, she was an Actuary and Director of Risk Management/Finance for Sun Life Financial, Associate Actuary for Manulife Financial, and Manager of Investment & Product Risk Management for NN Financial ING Group.
She graduated from Concordia University with a BS in Actuarial Mathematics and received an MBA from INSEAD.
She also holds a Chartered Alternatives Investment Analyst designation.
