Mr. Ward is founder and majority shareholder of Armajaro Holdings Limited as well as the principal portfolio manager of the CC+ fund.
Prior to forming Armajaro in 1998, he was a Director and head trader for cocoa and coffee at Phibro, the commodity trading arm of Salomon Smith Barney.
Mr. Ward has over 30 years’ experience in trading soft commodities, particularly cocoa and coffee, and is currently Chairman of Financial Express (Holdings) Limited.
Formerly a board member (ex-Chairman) of the European Cocoa Association, he was also a board director of LIFFE and chairman of the Cocoa Association of London.
Most recently, he has been awarded the Chevalier de l’Ordre du Merite Agricole (France, 2011).
